Students as researchers: learning by doing

Thursday 12th June

13:00-14:00

Forum Seminar Room 05

Having stumbled through four years of cajoling students to undertake original research for a final year module, David seeks to share and discuss some of the pain, joy, and sheer serendipity in grappling with the realities of students as researchers.

David explains his approach from his final year undergraduate International Business History module, where students (150 this year) complete an individual piece of research on an international firm c.1915.

Everyone welcome, no need to book!
